Rooms
For the first time, I find myself living on my own. After my housemate moved out, I now get to decide how to organise and style the whole flat. So I spent some time thinking about it, and before I got a single tester pot or piece of furniture, I wanted to give each room a purpose and a list of activities. So this post is to share that with you.
I asked two questions:
Why do I need to be in that room?
What will I be doing in there?
Office
Where I make Chuffed Solutions succeed.
Focusing on billable work
Creating the Sales and Marketing materials and strategy
Bookkeeping and accounting
Co-working in Focusmate sessions
Kitchen
Where I get the sustenance needed that also works towards my longevity goals.
Prepare and Cook healthy meals
Track and record my consumption
Store the foods I want to eat
Work towards my weight loss and longevity goals
Living Room
I come here to have DomTime.
Watch YouTube, TV, and movies
Play video games
Chat on the phone with friends

Bedroom
The place to relax, be creative, and recharge.

Stream
From here, a lot of decisions get made. For example, I was initially going to have my whole streaming set up in the office, but then I realised I didn’t need it. Also, I found many things in the kitchen that made sense to give away.
Overall, I feel much more comfortable in the space, even though I have only sorted a few bits and pieces. But I feel more guided and purposeful in the design of each room.
