Chuffed Solutions Rebrand

My company website currently was built using Google Sites in an afternoon and a logo from Fivver, and it had one job; to show I was real. But as time has passed, so things must change and I have to now rethink what is the purpose and job of Chuffed Solution’s home page.

🧠 Purpose

To have a digital representation of the brand, shopfront, and business card.

👀 Vision

A place to send prospective and active clients to give them confidence in the services of Chuffed Solutions, with the aim of being part of the journey of going from an interested party to a paying customer.

🤕 Problems

These problem statements are written as true as possible on reflecting on Chuffed’s clients and individuals looking for Product and Project Management.

  1. As a potential client who has an idea for an app, I want to realise my vision, but I don’t know what needs to be done because I am not experienced in building tech products. Therefore, I have little confidence and feel a little lost about what to do.

  2. As a potential client who has an idea for an app and very little budget, I need to build something fast and cheap to get into the market, but I cannot work out a solution that is feasible because I am not familiar with the technologies I can leverage or fully dive in the problem I am trying to solve. It feels that the only means to release is to pay an expensive development team to build something I am not yet sure will work.

  3. As a potential customer who already has a product in the market, I want to iterate and release new features, but what to build next is a mystery as I lack the data and insights into the User's needs and motivations for the reason we have been reactive in building to issues and tickets. This leaves me lost in trying to scope anything that I have confidence in.

🥅 Goals

In 6 months:

  • Chuffed needs to have a place to share with prospective clients so that they have confidence in the services on offer and the people who will deliver the work.

  • Chuffed needs to show authority on relevant subjects so that prospective clients are aware of the knowledge and experience in order to compel them to use Chuffed as a way to realise their vision.

  • Chuffed needs to share methodologies, philosophies, principles, and standards with prospective clients from its own branded pages so that confidence in the process is clear and without external reference e.g. this is what so-and-so says so.

🥡 Deliverables

  • Redo the Google Site into a form that can render any design.

  • Have a new logo.

  • Organise the website to maximise the communication of confidence in minimal space.

  • Create a repository of documents, in the form of the Chuffed Handbook, that represent the methodologies, philosophies, values & principles, and standards.

  • To have a consistent design scheme e.g. font, colours, etc. in all instances of Production.
